How to Report an Error

Please use our Contact Us page. Include the article headline or link, the specific passage or claim, an explanation of the issue and any reliable supporting information.

Review

We review correction requests in good faith. A request may require additional verification or clarification before an editorial decision is made. We may contact the person submitting the request if more information is needed.

Corrections and Updates

When we confirm a significant factual error, we aim to correct it clearly and, where appropriate, explain what was changed. Minor spelling, grammar or style changes may be made without a separate correction notice. Updates to developing stories may be identified as updates when appropriate.

What This Policy Does Not Cover

Disagreement with an article’s viewpoint, interpretation or news judgment is not necessarily a factual error. Such feedback is still welcome and may be considered by the editorial team.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a correction or a response.
